About Suze

Suze Gray Williams grew up surrounded by animals near Santa Barbara, California. She graduated from U.C.L.A. with a degree in psychology and from the Southern California Institute of Architecture with a Master of Architecture degree. She eventually traded in her drafting pencil for a laptop to follow her passions of writing and photography. Suze splits her time between California and rural Idaho—with summer explorations in Alaska.

Too Many Ways To Die is a story about belonging and the importance of family, both birth and found, interwoven with a mystery. The novel is set in Alaska, a place known for unusual characters and dangerous situations. In this wild setting, Suze gets to share with readers several of her passions—Alaska and the dogs and people who run the Iditarod sled dog race.

Articles in the works for her website include the Iditarod, the many wild animals of Alaska especially the bears, anything to do with dogs, but specifically working dogs who perform K-9 police duty, therapy, search and rescue, Parkinson’s Disease and Cancer detection and Karelian Bear Dogs who chase nuisance bears away from humans.
